Política de privacidad
The privacy of your personal information is very important to A-Champs ltd. This privacy policy describes how we protect and handle the personal information that you provide to us and that we obtain through our services.
In the A-Champs App, activity data for each user is always kept private. High level participation data (scores, mission status, badges, times and points) is also accessible to all other users. Children’s activity data is only tied to the email address of their parents, a screen name, birth month and birth year, gender, and device ID.
The term “Website” means the website located at www.a-champs.com. The term “APP” means our A-Champs smartphone APP. In combination, we refer to our Website, and APP as our “Services.” For this Privacy Policy, the term “Account Holders” refers to individuals who have an account with A-Champs and can sign into the APP using their email address and password (“Credentials”). The term “Players” refers to individuals who synchronise device data (for instance, data from a ROX) to the APP. Users are examples of Players. The term “Visitors” refers to individuals who visit the APP or Website without signing in or synchronising device data. Together Players and Visitors are referred to as “Users”.
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to tell you what kind of information we may gather about Users when they visit this Website or use our Services, how we may use that information, whether we disclose it to anyone, and the choices Users have regarding our use of, and their ability to correct this information. Our policy allows you to choose what kind of User you are and how much information you provide to us, and to control how we use whatever information you give us.
Collection
Information is collected from Users primarily to make it easier and more rewarding to use our APP and Website. Depending on the service accessed, Users could provide anonymous information (if a Participant or Visitor) or Personal information (if an Account holder). We collect the minimum amount of information needed to provide a quality experience, and we will only collect personal information when Users provide it to us. We only collect the email address of parents, screen name, month and year of birth, gender, and device ID of Players and do not supplement the data we collect with information from third parties.
In order to comply with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which requires Players under the age of 13 to use the service with verifiable parental consent, we conduct parental verification by email verification.
When Users use our Services, we may automatically collect information on the technology they are using (e.g., type of device, operating system, screen size). We do not ask Users for, access, or track any location-based information from your mobile device at any time while downloading or using our Services on your device. We reserve the right to use location-based software to protect the security of Hardware owned by us – for instance, to track stolen devices. Information used for security purposes will not be mixed with the Services data.

We may specifically ask for personal information about Account Holders when they sign up to use a service through this Website. Information we require includes gender, email address of parents, and birth month and year in order to provide that service or product to the Account Holder. This information may also be used to assist Account Holders during their engagement with the APP; inform Account Holders of future related services which may interest them; and request feedback about the APP or Website. Account Holders can choose to opt-out of such communications (see the “opt-out preferences” disclosure below). Account Holders are able to register Players by using their information. Account Holders can also delete affiliated Players from the A-Champs APP by emailing us at hey@a-champs.com.

In addition, we collect physical activity and play data from Players when they synchronize their Device to our APP.

Cookies Policy:
Our website use technologies that enhance user friendliness and engagement, to keep the website operating as smoothly as possible and to provide web services and functionalities for each visitor. Examples of these technologies are cookies, pixel tags, local storage and scripts (hereinafter collectively referred to as "cookies"). This cookie policy describes which cookies A-Champs is using and for what purposes.
Purposes of use of cookies
Cookies are used for a variety of purposes. For example, they enable visitors to use our shopping services, they calculate web statistics, provide online advertising and they improve visitors’ experience on our websites. As your privacy is important to us, we would like to inform you about which cookies are used on our websites, as well as why we use them. By clicking “Agree” or by continuing to browse our websites without adjusting your browser settings to block cookies, you are agreeing to our use of cookies.
Do-Not-Track. Our systems do not respond to browser do-not-track requests. For more information, visit https://allaboutdnt.com/ .
We may use the following cookies on our websites:
Functional cookies: these cookies are essential in order to ensure that our website operates properly. They are used to save preferences, detect misuse of our website and services and to distribute the load on our servers, which keeps our website available. Certain services you requested cannot be provided without these cookies.
Web statistics cookies: these cookies are used to determine which parts of our website visitors are most interested in. This enables us to make the structure, navigation, and content of our website as user friendly as possible. Specifically, these cookies are used to (i) keep track of the number of visitors to our web pages; (ii) keep track of the amount of time each user spends on our web pages; (iii) determine the order in which a visitor visits the various pages of our website; (iv) assess which parts of the website need to be changed; and (v) optimise the website. Software from third parties (Google Analytics and Optimizely) may be used for these purposes.
Google Analytics uses "performance cookies" to analyze how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States, a country that does not offer an equivalent level of protection of privacy to that applicable in the European Union. This website uses Google Analytics with the expansion 'anonymizeIp()'; therefore, only abbreviated IP addresses will be further processed, so that a direct connection to the individual user is eliminated. Your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google (i.e. the last octet of the IP address will be anonymized) within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states of the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google Server in the United States and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the website operator for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services to website operators relating to website activity and Internet usage. Google will not associate the IP address transmitted under Google Analytics by your browser with other data held by Google. You may prevent the use of Google Analytics by disabling cookies in the browser's set up screen. You may prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser software. You may prevent Google from recording the data generated by the cookie and pertaining to your use of the website (including your IP address), or processing these data by downloading and installing the following browser plug-in available through Google at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en .
Google's Privacy Notice is located at http://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html .
Feedback cookies: these cookies from GetSatisfaction are used to share your ideas, questions, ratings, problems and feedback with us and other users of our websites. GetSatisfaction also stores cookies to distribute the load of the webservers.
Social media cookies: our websites may integrate certain third-party plug-ins (such as a Facebook "like" button). Even if you do not click on these plug-ins, they may collect information about you, such as your IP address and the pages that you view. These plugins are governed by the privacy policy of the third party providing them.
Advertising cookies: our websites may also enable third-party tracking mechanisms to collect data over time and across unaffiliated websites for use in interest-based advertising. For example, third parties may use the fact that you visited the website(s) to target online ads for A-Champs products to you on non-A-Champs websites. In addition, our third-party advertising partners might use information about your use of the services to help target non-A-Champs advertisements based on your online behaviour in general.
We or our third-party service providers also may use collected information to establish connections among related web browsers and devices (such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and TVs) for targeted advertising, analytics, attribution, and reporting purposes. These third parties may match your browsers or devices if you log into the same online service on multiple devices or if your devices share similar attributes that support an inference that they are used by the same person or household. This means that information about your activity on websites or apps on your current browser or device may be combined with information collected from your other browsers or devices.
How to manage cookies
If you do not want our websites to store cookies on your device, you can change your browser settings so that you receive a warning before certain cookies are stored. You can also adjust your settings so that your browser refuses most of our cookies or only certain cookies from third parties.
