Working together with Sporting Kansas City is A-Champs’ first major step into the US soccer market. Our technology and methodology is already used by leading European Soccer teams and players and is now destined to revolutionize soccer training across the red white and blue nation.
Sporting Kansas City’s main interest in the partnership is based around 2 areas:
- To add cognitive-motor training into their training and development programs. Superior cognitive-motor skills like Perception, Reaction, Decision Making, Adaptability and Concentration are the base for a player’s ability to read the game and to make the right decisions on the pitch. ROXPro’s training methodology is based on external stimulation with randomized light and sound signals and offers a unique and perfect way to replicate real game scenarios and to develop cognitive-motor skills;
- To provide players and coaches with crucial live data about the development and progress of each player, drill, rep, etc. at every single training session. Kansas City’s coaches and players will now be able to track strengths and weaknesses from specific skill sets to position specific training scenarios.
This partnership will include usage from Sporting’s First Team as well as from their Youth Club.
“We are super excited about this partnership. Sporting KC is one of the leading innovators in US Sports and obviously we are proud to become part of their daily training routines. Based on our success with top European Soccer clubs we are very confident that we can offer SKC the world’s best interactive soccer training solution.”
“When we were developing this new training methodology and searching for the best cognitive-motor training tools out there, we knew we had to find the best. After working with various products A-Champs became the no-brainer. Their professionalism, quality and easy interface is what sets them apart. When we introduced this technology to Peter Vermes in Sporting Kansas CIty, it clicked. We knew we found the best partnerb (A-Champs) to take this project to the next level.” – Steven Carrera. USA
